BABIES COME BACK! (you can blame it all ... on ... us.)

Rad Baby says SCHLEPISODE 164 is HERE And over there -->

We abandon the usual categories and make up some new ones to bullshit about because frankly if we hadn't, we couldn't have done this show. We talk about all the crap that's been going on in our lives on top of having a 6-month-old baby, including an insane work and family-related travel schedule for Aaron, and a massively disappointing layoff for Evie. (and no, that doesn't give her more time to read comics, in fact she's actually busier than ever.)

We talk Monkeybrain launch, Marvel re-(IT'S NOT A RELAUNCH)-launch, Amazing Spider-Man, some Saga, some Spider-Men, and some Dave Clark Five.

In fact, fuck it. All the music is Dave Clark Five in this one.

Then we get real tired and start to trail off a bit and one of the cats causes problems and then the OH HEY LYNX:

OH HEY LINKS:

Evie's Spider-Man Tangled Web

OK Cupid Enemies

Seriously look at that thing again, that is awesome.

That Spider-Man Web made my sense of reality hurt. Spidey 616 is a whorebag.

Welcome back! Always a treat to see a new show pop up. Sure glad I didn't cancel my subscription. :eyeroll:

So you've referenced Player, Dr. Dre, and the Dave Clark Five in the show notes. Eclectic.

I adore May's rockhorns! It's so sweet how she wants to be just like Mommy and Daddy. :)

Haven't actually listened to the ep yet, but I look forward to hearing how y'all are doing. And Saga talk!

You see- that's all I am talking about.
If the format needs to change a bit for awhile- ok.

And listen- if someone doesn't argue with you sometimes they don't really care.
To the fans who say- don't worry do whatever - we're here.
I am the listener they cheat on you with b/c you bore them with your 50's housewife routine.

Good show.

Hey guys. Thanks for the update. You sound so very tired, I hope things get better for you soon.

It's nice to hear from you both anyway, and interesting to hear a positive review of Amazing Pider-Man.

Update whenever you're able and I'll still be here, squeeing for joy when a new episode turns up.

Until then, here's an article I wrote about Pokémon being a post-apocalyptic horror series. I hope you enjoy.

It really stinks that you got laid off, Evie. Keep us up to date on other freelance things you write, like the Spider-man article, so we can go read them and give you lots of page views.

Great to hear from the family again, cheers for finding the time. I'm sorry to hear about Evie's layoff - I'm in print myself, and every month the job survives feels like a win. It's good to hear you're busier than ever, Evie, but may a full-time gig come up soon.

I enjoyed the tweaked formula show, going from Dave Clark to Dane Clark. I see from IMDB that this fella has been in loads of things, but I don't think he's on anyone's radar outside the States - you should move! What's so annoying, is he always in the press or something?

It was Elizabeth Banks who played Betty Brant in the last round of films - I did enjoy her turn as the woman with the hats in Hunger Games.

That anti-joke Aaron loves - obviously, I don't get it, because it's not a joke, but I don't understand how it works. Or is that the point, it is a matter of non sequiturs?

May is gorgeous, tickle her tum for me! (Weirdly, the code I'm being asked to put in is 'asksmay 16')

Glad to see you guys back! I've got a 5 month old baby myself, so I'm certainly willing to be patient--whenever you can put up a show, I'll download and listen.

Thanks for another great show and all your hard work - yours is my favorite comics podcast by far.

I understand firsthand that when you have a newborn, you have to redefine what makes a productive day, week, etc. Some days just taking a shower is reason to celebrate.

Hang in there and know that we'll be listening.
