But I'm already going through ABC withdrawals!
It's cool, you deserve a break sometimes, ya know. I'll just need to re-listen to some old timey ABC podcasts from eons gone by to get me through.
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVIE! If you were here now I'd give you a hug for being my favorite female voice in all of comics opinion stuff. You rock, sweetheart.
So, since no podcast, what was everyone's, at least, Cover of the Week? I'll post mine later cuz it's 4:45 a.m. and I'm sleepy and I need to think about it.
Horse,
-Shawn
Happy birthday Evie! Hope you have a fun day.
My cover of the week was Frankenstein Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #2. Loved how the cast was poping out of his head.

Also, I would like to nominate internet\cell phone reception at the Javitts center for crap of the week.
Frankenstein was good. Batwoman was pretty good, but scrolling through Comixology, I came upon the cover of Ghostbusters #2 by IDW. Love it, I don't know why I'm not reading it.

My Cover of the Week goes to Marvel's Legion of Monsters #1, cover by Juan Doe, and no, I didn't make that name up.
Nice movement of the monsters on the cover, with Elsa firm and suave in the foreground. I like the coloring too, not too overdone. Plus, Man-Phibian!
My crap of the week goes to my copy of Essential Tomb of Dracula Volume 1, which fell apart in my hands about 50 pages in. The cover unglued itself and boy did the pages start flying. It was published in 2003, so I guess the shelf life of some of these black and white reprints are about 8 years. Won't stop me from still buying them!
Peace,
-Shawn
My cover of the week is The Unexpected #1, by Rafael Grampa, and it's just a phonemanally detailed work. It's a cover unrelated to the anothology inside, and It just feels like the cover is telling its own story, which you don't see very often in modern covers. Plus, it's Rafael Grampa, an his art is amazing.
And Happy Birthday, Evie! Hope it was a good one!
