No mic problems, very few baby problems, a week in which we actually
read comics, a new weird sponsor, a post-credits joke and some bitching
about Secret Invasion make it feel like 2010 (or 2009 or whatever) all
over again! Sure there's a couple of stray nose-blows that we might have
edited out in the past, and sure there's some baby yips in there and
sure there's no cat interuptions, but it's pretty close to good ol' old
school ABCP. "Ol' Old School?" Is that okay to say? "Ol' old" What about if
you have an oldsmobile from when they used to make those? An Old Olds.
An Ol' Old Olds. Now that's a spicy biscuits!
Git yours here!
Oh and here's our messed up car:

Sorry about your car, guys. I hope things bounce back.
Great show! I appreciate how difficult putting together a show like this is for you two, and I just want to say thanks for the obvious effort and quality!
My day is always thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much better whenever a new episode comes up. You three are the ginchiest.
Off to listen.
Quick post to express my happiness that you're back, my sorrow for your car, and my mixed joy-and-jealousy that you're at a "Doug Loves Movies" show. With nametag! Hope you'll get to tell us about your DLM experience soon.
Nice return to form.
Good show.
And Aaron- you shut your whore mouth.
There is Nothing good about Ultimate Spider-Man.
It's pandering vaudeville with no respect for the characters.
Cool story bro.
Glad to hear another show so soon. I'd vote for shows as frequent as you can have them with a minimum baseline of quality. As the father of a 6 month old girl, I can absolutely sympathize with the difficulty finding extended periods of peace and quiet. At the same time, starting up last week's episode shortly after dropping my daughter off at daycare, I nearly drove off the road three or four times upon suddenly hearing a screaming baby--the "oh shit did I somehow forgot to actually drop her off at daycare" reflex is a strong one. In any case, it's good to hear you all back a bit more frequently. Best of luck with the car and general peace and quiet.
Quality show, keep rockin' folks
(I totes disagree about Catwoman though, was my fav new 52 run, that team has gone too soon)
Also, never get tired of that crap of the week metal theme, since I love the irony of the best music ever being used for the negative bit.
And don't worry about professionalism, it may be even funnier when its haywire. Kind of like how on Conan it's the funniest when things mess up on his show and he rolls with it.
Without ABCP
The Teen Patrol has fallen apart.
The club house is now a crack house.
The Patrol has traded in their comics for copies of guns and ammo and Jugs.
Heinous crimes and obscene violence abound- while some are sent to juvie a few of the more serious offenders are beig tried as adults!
I hope you can live with it.
Just discovered your podcast after doing some wacky google searching. Hope to see some new episodes soon. I keep popping in from day to day. Most recent episode was a lot of fun.
My girlfriend (domestic partner according to MetLife) and I read comics and I do my best to meet both of our needs.
We are really digging Saga, Manhattan Projects, and Saucer Country.
Question: (sorry if you've answered this before) Where/in what way do you store your single issues? I'd like to have some easily accessible but it's a problem I haven't solved.
What I need is a non-functioning dentist's office attached to my house with a waiting room...with those little chairs...and a little table with...COMICS!
thanks for the post.
