So- what is the technical reason why the doors are bad. Personally they weren't the Beatles that is obvious- but they had that something that makes music have feeling- you can look at Riders on the Storm or Love Her Madly- and chart it in some venn diagram how it's technically wrong- but what are you doing listening to music for then. I don't get the recent popularity to bag on them.
I guess it's just a personal taste thing? I happen to like the Doors well enough - especially the more groove-oriented stuff (peace frog, etc.), but Evie doesn't. I'm not 100% sure why we're talking about this, though.
Oh and also we did not obtain a single comic book this week. So no show again. This time we can blame my weird auto-immune reaction to food poisoning which knocked me out until about Thursday night.
People's opinion on The Doors seems to run either very hot or very cold (Josh Flanagan of iFanboy hates them as well). Usually I attribute it to people over-analysing their work, but Evie is a professional, so I trust she has her reasons.
I expect her to defend those opinions in the next episode, however.

Seconded they rock, kudos on the kid, and thanks for the podcast wizardry
Great show. Plus Evie's surprise Super Mario medley is worthy of being run at the end of any Marvel movie.
Heterosexual guys do not hang around the apt together in naked aprons.
And the Thing has cosmically powered strength he could definitely win against Namor.
Sleezepower doesn't make you stronger.
"Speaking of crap of the week..." Hee hee. Glad to have you guys back again.
