This episode of the Awesomed By Comics Podcast is, once again, brought to you by The Spectacular Superfriends Show on May 19 at Littlefield in Brooklyn, which has become even more spectacular since last time, if you can believe that! Loki and Savoy steal the show, with additional wins for Abnett & Lanning's solid start to New Mutants, also a fun villain reveal in Birds of Prey, and also Sue Storm's awesome hair. Also Smallville was Smallville for the last time. Also we have lots of fun remembering (or trying to remember, in Aaron's case) all the various bits we've done on the show, which we were reminded of by the painstaking work of power-listener Ethan. And soon we'll put his list up for you folks to peruse. But until then, come to the show on Thursday. You'll be awesomed by it. Also.
Download/subscribe to the show here or in the right sidebar, and leave an iTunes review! Tell us what you think in the comments, and feel free to suggest your own winners for our categories. Also if you've ever considered supporting the show, this would be a stellar time to do so with a donation of your choosing over there at the top of the right sidebar.

Wow. I wasn't expecting an episode this week. What a pleasant surprise.
Good luck with the show. I know you'll do great!
Wish I could go. :(
Hats through the centuries was post the first mention of Lidsville, but pre the more recent mention of Lidsville.
The reason Junior is described as Ragdoll's daughter, is because the Ragdoll we know from Secret Six, is actually Ragdoll III, son of the original Ragdoll. DC comics, everybody.
Best of luck with the show/new job, guys.
I enjoyed the Smallville finally i think you guys are way too hard on the show.
It's hard to say, but I get the impression that, from the point of view of the characters, the Secret Six's Rag Doll is much less well known than his father (and possibly he has a brother who is also Rag Doll, I don't have my Villains United trade handy, but I think that Rag Doll's brother might have appeared in that story) one of the things about the Six, is that they all kind of walk onstage in Villains United as though they're established supervillains, but Scandal is an entirely new character, Rag Doll is a legacy name but also an entirely new character. AFAIK his activities since Villains United are all that we know the character to have done, so its likely that outside of the Birds of Prey, the Batmen, Amanda Waller, Luthor, Vandal Savage, and whoever those characters might have told, any given DC character wouldn't even know that this ragdoll exists.
Hey guys,
The character holding Nate Grey captive in New Mutants 25 is the Sugar Man, another Age of Apocalypse character. Also X-Man appeared in Paul Cornell's Dark X-Men mini during Dark Reign.
Also, the Smallville finale could have benefited from more ass-kicking and a tighter plot.
I KNEW X-Man was in that Paul Cornell thing!
Oh, and I just noticed, you misattributed the FF #3 variant, it was Marko Djurdjevic, Acuna did the regular cover.
Daredevil says that he twisted away at the last second and that the bullet only grazed his skull. He's just surprised that he didn't drown or break his neck when he hit the water and is still alive. I don't think it's quite as awful as you make it out Aaron.
FYI Aaron, 'white' pigeons are known as, 'doves'. ;)
