This "back from a computer-imposed week off" episode of the Awesomed By Comics Podcast is brought to you by a very special episode of our very favorite other podcast, featuring a very special artist who has decided to charge a very special $200 for interviews because his very special art career is very especially over. Big wins for Uncanny X-Men's "point one" issue, a turning point for "Who is Jake Ellis," some hero/villain turns in Secret Six, a great start for the new Herc, a pretty good start for Nonplayer, and a pretty bad start for the Fear Itself tie-in book.

With everything he said about the whale in the last issue of the Unwritten, I'm surprised Aaron didn't mention all the Thomas Hobbes stuff in Herc #1. Also, I assumed that the George Michael joke wasn't supposed to be that his parents named him after George Michael, but that it was a coincidence that led to him being given the nickname later (a la, the 'Mr. Sparkle' plotline in the Simpsons).
Evie's hiccups were kind of adorable.
George Michael was born-

Oh snap. I did not realize an episode was playing this week. Looks like I got something to listen to on tomorrow's drive to work.
Glad to you see you guys back!
